Description
Imienny Brylantwedding rings were created for a couple who wanted to make their family name the central element of the design. The newlyweds’ surname runs around the circumference of the ring, while the diamond is held in a special setting that creates the impression of the stone floating above the metal.
The Polish name Imienny Brylant can be translated as “named diamond”. In this design, the family name is not a hidden detail inside the ring, but a visible part of the composition - a personal symbol of two people beginning a shared story.
Names, initials and dates are usually placed inside wedding rings. In Imienny Brylant, personalisation becomes part of the outer design: the letters are arranged around the circumference and integrated with the stones, textures and decorative details.
This approach makes the rings recognisable and deeply personal. The inscription does not look like an addition to an existing model - the entire architecture of the jewellery is built around it. As the hand moves, individual letters gradually come into view, like a story revealing itself one detail at a time.
A bespoke project can include:
- the couple’s surname, names or initials;
- the arrangement and character of the letters;
- the choice of typeface;
- the number and placement of stones;
- a combination ofpolished and textured surfaces;
- the preferredprecious-metal colour;
- an additional engraving inside.
Every character should be checked carefully before the model is created. Even the smallest detail matters in bespoke jewellery, so the wording, order of the letters and overall composition areapproved before production begins.
The central diamond is the main focal point of the design and appears to sit above the surface of the ring. This visual effect is created by a specialsetting construction that secures the stone while leaving more open space around it.
Light can reach the diamond from different directions, emphasising its shape and brilliance. The stone becomes the symbolic centre of the composition - the point around which the couple’s surname, decorative lines and metal texture come together.
The floating effect gives the ring visual lightness. Despite the richly detailed design, the central diamond does not disappear among the other elements. Instead, it becomes a clear symbol of the value of a shared story.
The Imienny Brylant composition is built on contrast. Polished sections highlight the clarity of the letters, textured metal adds depth, and the stones create points of light. The warm gold tone brings the different elements together and gives the intricate design a harmonious appearance.
When selecting stones, appearance is not the only consideration. Their size, placement and setting method should be planned in advance so that they support the overall composition and remain suitable for everyday wear.
The surface texture can also be adapted to the couple’s preferences. A finer finish has a restrained character and gently diffuses the light. A more pronounced texture makes the surface stand out and strengthens the contrast with the polished letters and decorative details.
The model can be crafted in a selected goldfineness and colour or inplatinum. A bespoke project can include:
- 585 or 750 gold;
- yellow, white or red gold;
- a combination of several metal colours;
- 950 platinum;
- individual ring widths and proportions;
- personalised placement of inscriptions and stones.
Wide wedding rings feel different on the finger from slim, classic bands. The size should therefore be determined with the width, profile and preferred fit taken into account. Professional ring gauges help check whether the ring passes comfortably over the knuckle and sits securely at the base of the finger.
Imienny Brylant wedding rings are made at KiANIT’s own workshop in Warsaw. The process begins with a discussion of the concept, composition, precious metal, stones and proportions of the future rings.
Thecost of the project is calculated individually. It depends on the chosen metal, fineness, sizes, final weight, the number and characteristics of the stones, modelling complexity, surface texture and the construction of the central diamond setting.
The design can be discussed at theKiANIT showroom in Browary Warszawskie, at 43A Grzybowska Street. We also work remotely with clients from other cities and countries: the design direction, inscription,ring sizes and personal details can all be agreed online. Remote orders are available for clients in Poland and other EU countries.
Imienny Brylant wedding rings transform a family name into part of a jewellery composition. The couple’s surname, a central diamond with a floating effect and individually selected details come together in rings created not for an abstract love story, but for one particular family.
